I decided to do the arms IK with a pole vector on the elbow for better control. I believe this method would be easier for the animator to control the rig instead of FK system on arms. I added a control on the shoulder so it can be controlled (very important for expression), a pole vector control on elbow, and a control on the wrist. I should be finishing up the IK hands tomorrow. All that leaves on my list is the FK switch to IK on the spine (currently the spine is just FK) and then skinning. So far I haven't received any complaints yet so I'm continuing with what I have. I'll double check the rig with Alex before I skin it, because once it's skin it's really hard to go back and change anything.
